March 2 [Day 2] (Terry Waters) The temperature reached 0C at 1400 from a low of -7C and was -3C at the end of the day. Ground winds were SW 20 gusting 40 km/h all day while SW ridge winds gusted to 92 km/h at 1300 and 1400. Cloud cover was 80% altocumulus and lenticular for much of the day and the mountains to the west were up to 40% obscured. The only migrant raptor was an adult Golden Eagle that moved along the Fisher Range at 1440.
